There's a scent on the Australian honey. Recently it appeared that almost half of the honey samples from the supermarket had added sugars and/or syrups. This was the result of an investigation into C4 sugars that showed whether the product consists entirely of honey or whether sugars have been added.
That honey scores high in the "fraud" top 10 is not unknown. In 2015, earlier research was carried out with the same results. Despite the improved testing methods and alertness to fraud, mixing with sugars or falsification of origin still occurs. Alertness therefore remains necessary.
