Eurofins Food Testing Netherlands works a lot with major European clients in segments such as nutraceuticals, premixes, baby and pet food. Eurofins Competence Centers
In the Netherlands, we use the state-of-the-art Eurofins Vitamin Competence Centre in Denmark to perform vitamin and amino acid analyses. Here, a team of 120 subject specialists work on some 400 samples a day, from across the Eurofins network. This in-house laboratory site performs testing for all Eurofins sites in Europe and has exceptional expertise.
The Eurofins Expertise Centre for Carbohydrate Testing (CCC) is located in Heerenveen, and part of Eurofins Food Testing Netherlands. The CCC is an internationally leading laboratory in its field, and we pride ourselves on our broad expertise in carbohydrate analysis. Our dedicated team of specialists excels in dietary fibre and prebiotic analysis, ensuring you the most accurate and insightful results. Our experts delve into the issue with you and find tailor-made solutions to meet your specific needs. With a broad portfolio of routine tests and a unique range of specialised (customised) analyses, we are your partner for all things carbohydrate.

High-quality analytical techniques
Our Competence Centres use high-quality techniques such as HPLC, mass spectrometry, and recognised methods such as USP monographs, AOAC methods and ISO/NEN standards. With these, we accurately analyse which dietary fibres, minerals, prebiotics, vitamins and amino acids are present in a product – individually or in profile – and check whether the contents label is correct. This ensures quality, reliability and compliance with laws and regulations.

With a PhD in carbohydrate chemistry, he is a leading expert in the field, specialising in the analysis of dietary fibres and prebiotics. Dr. Vrasidas is known for his extensive knowledge and innovative approaches to carbohydrate testing, making significant contributions to the industry.
